Installation

Yttri is currently in open beta: access is granted via an email request, and builds arrive through a personal link.

Beta access

Section titled “Beta access”
  • Leave your email in the Join the beta form on the home page.
  • Confirm your address using the email you receive.
  • When a build is ready, you receive a personal download link. The link has a limited lifetime and download count.

Platforms

Section titled “Platforms”
  • macOS — .dmg, separate builds for Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • Windows 10+ — .exe installer (x64).
  • Linux — AppImage, .deb and .rpm (x64).

Updates arrive automatically: use one installer, then the app keeps itself up to date.

System requirements

Section titled “System requirements”

The primary local model, Qwen3.5-4B, needs at least 16 GB of RAM and a GPU — Apple Silicon or NVIDIA CUDA. Without them, the app still works fully while background AI tasks run via Yttri Cloud.
