Brief and situations

The panel header holds the day’s summary, written as a secretary would speak rather than as a table:

  • “You have 3 important unread emails from … I’d suggest reading them.”;
  • “You have 2 meetings today, the next one is … at 15:00.”;
  • “The payment … is overdue. Worth checking.”;
  • “You have 2 overdue tasks and 3 tasks for today. Start with the overdue ones.”;
  • “2 proposals are waiting for your decision.”

Below the text are sections per domain: Mail, Calendar, Finance, Tasks, Decisions. Urgent items are marked “urgent”, a message awaiting a reply is marked as such, and a message can be marked read from the brief itself.

The brief expands and collapses, refreshes with a button, and is flagged “needs updating” when stale. With nothing left to triage it says “all clear”.

Situations are grouped by meaning: Needs attention, Suggestions, What’s happening, Done.

Each shows whose job it is:

  • “the assistant will do it — nothing required from you”;
  • “your decision is needed”;
  • “the assistant will prepare it — you just check”;
  • “waiting for an event”;
  • “the assistant is working” / “the assistant did it”.

And a status: open, waiting, blocked, resolved, needs updating.

Actions: Execute, Retry, Retry analysis, Cancel analysis, Dismiss, Hide, Close situation, Already done.

A completed action can be undone. The outcomes are stated honestly: “performed and verified”, “performed partially — needs checking”, “cancelled”, “failed”, and if the rollback didn’t take — “the undo was not applied, the original change stands”.

A situation can be discussed: Start discussion creates a chat with the context, Continue discussion opens the conversation it grew from, and Answer the questions returns your answer into the agent’s work.

Sometimes the assistant asks right in the feed — for example, “how should this commitment be recorded?” with the options “As a task”, “As a reminder”, “Not at all”.

Hidden situations aren’t gone: a “show hidden” button brings them back.
