Today — overview

Today is the first item in the left menu and the screen that opens on launch. It is a shop window: a greeting with the day’s summary and a grid of widgets drawn from the other sections. The section has no data of its own.

The screen has three parts: the greeting header, the widget grid and the preview panel on the right.

Greeting and summary

The greeting changes with the time of day — good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night — with your name; without a name it stays neutral.

The line below gives the date, the weekday and three numbers: how many meetings, tasks and important emails you have today. When there is nothing, it says so: “all quiet today” — the app doesn’t invent activity to fill space.

Grid edit mode

The gear in the header switches on edit mode: Add widget (the menu lists only widgets not already on screen, with a name and description) and Done.

Widgets can be rearranged and resized: small, medium, large. Content depends on size — the weather widget shows only the current temperature when small and adds the feels-like value, wind, humidity, precipitation and a three-day forecast when large.

Note

After a design update the widget set is reset once to the new default — the app announces it with a notification.

Preview panels

Clicking an item in a widget opens a panel on the right, without leaving for another section. There are four: event, email, task, note. If the object can’t be loaded, the panel says so plainly and offers “Open in module”.

Free mode

Without a subscription a card appears above the grid offering to choose a plan: some widgets rely on the cloud AI. With no internet it becomes an offline warning — local widgets keep working.
