Calendar — overview

The calendar in Yttri is not an hour grid over a single source but a unified timeline. One grid shows six kinds of item from different modules at once:

  • events and meetings, Yttri Meet calls included;
  • tasks with a due date;
  • finance events — scheduled payments and incomes;
  • CRM and projects — deal dates, project deadlines;
  • contact dates — birthdays and anniversaries;
  • automations — rules that fired.

Any kind can be hidden with a layer switch without touching the data. Video meetings live in the same section: a quick call, active, upcoming and past meetings.

  • The sidebar — video calls, layers, the list of connected calendars and the “New event” button.
  • The top bar — the Day / Week / Month switch, the filter funnel, the create button and “Today”.
  • The grid in the middle and the details panel on the right, which opens when you click an item or a day number.
  • Day — a vertical list of that day’s cards. It is not an hour grid: there are no 00:00–23:00 lines, cards simply follow their start times.
  • Week — seven columns, up to three previews each and a “+N more” link.
  • Month — a 7×N grid; under the day number are type icons (up to three plus “+N”), the event text is not shown — open the day or the item.

The chosen view is remembered until you come back.

There are no back/forward arrows in the header: the grid scrolls endlessly with the wheel or a swipe, and Today returns to the current date.

The funnel icon opens a popover:

  • search across every source and every kind of item;
  • layers — the same five switches as in the sidebar, each with a count;
  • status — scheduled, in progress, done, overdue, cancelled, missed, error, unknown — with counts as well;
  • reset filters — appears only when something has been changed.

The funnel is highlighted while a filter is active. If the range holds more than 5,000 items, exact counts are replaced by a dash: the app says “exact counts unavailable” rather than showing an approximation.

You can turn all five layers off — the grid is then replaced by a message with an “Enable all” link.

To the left of the title is a coloured type icon: event, meeting, reminder, task, payment, deal, project, lead, birthday, anniversary, automation.

To the right is a status badge, but only when the status is not “Scheduled”: the obvious is not spelled out. Overdue and failed items are red, “in progress” is amber.

For meetings your RSVP is visible: awaiting an answer is outlined with a dashed border, “maybe” with a solid amber one, and declined items are translucent. The coloured strip on the left in Day view is the colour of the source calendar, not the item type.
