Introduction
Yttri is a desktop app where mail, notes, tasks, meetings, and finances live in one local base, with a proactive AI agent on top.
Modules
Section titled “Modules”Everything lives in one app: notes (Markdown and wiki links), tasks and projects, meetings with notes and follow-ups, mail (IMAP and Exchange), calendar (CalDAV), contacts, finance (transactions extracted from emails), recordings with transcripts, and a graph connecting all of it.
Data is stored locally on your device: one base, one graph. The agent sees the whole context — an email knows about the meeting, and the meeting knows about tasks and people.
The AI agent
Section titled “The AI agent”The agent answers questions from your base with source links, writes and edits, and turns transcripts into tasks and plans. Proactive analyzers process new mail, meetings, and recordings in the background. Mutating actions run only with your approval.
Local and cloud
Section titled “Local and cloud”Yttri ships with built-in local models for the assistant, semantic search, speech recognition, and OCR. For heavier tasks, Yttri Cloud provides one subscription that picks the optimal model for each request.
