Finance is where automation pays off fastest: nobody enters every purchase by hand.
Where operations come from
Section titled “Where operations come from”- Mail — receipts, invoices, bank notifications, subscription renewals.
- Fiscal receipts — from messages with fiscal data: merchant, tax number, line items.
- Bank SMS — through a plugin; a charge becomes an operation.
- By hand — always available.
Every automatically created operation points at its source: from the operation you can see the message it came from.
Duplicate protection
Section titled “Duplicate protection”One purchase often arrives twice: an SMS from the bank and a receipt from the merchant. Yttri matches them and merges them into a single operation rather than two. The same applies to reprocessing the same message.
Suggestions
Section titled “Suggestions”Analysing a message doesn’t silently create an operation. It creates a suggestion: here’s the amount, the merchant, the date, the category — confirm, correct or dismiss. Suggestions also arrive for subscription price changes and for newly detected recurring payments.
Auto rules
Section titled “Auto rules”When you confirm the same kind of suggestion over and over, Yttri offers to turn it into a rule: messages from this sender with this amount → this category. Rules live in their own section showing how often each fired and how often you undid or corrected it. A rule you keep correcting turns itself off.
The agent and finance
Section titled “The agent and finance”The agent answers questions from your data: how much went to a category, which subscriptions are active, what’s being charged next week. It can create an operation or a subscription — with confirmation.
