Quick start

Five steps to make Yttri useful: an account, data sources, your first note, and your first question to the agent.

A Yttri account links the app to your subscription and Yttri Cloud. We store only your email — no other personal data.

In settings, add a mailbox (IMAP; for Google, use an app password) and a calendar (CalDAV). The agent starts classifying emails, building summaries, and extracting payments and subscriptions right from your mail.

Notes are plain Markdown files. Link notes together with [[wiki links]]: connections show up in the graph and become available to the agent.

Open the agent chat and ask about your data: “What did we decide at the project X meeting?” or “Which invoices arrived this week?”. Answers come with source links.

When the agent wants to change something — create a task, send an email, or mark a message as read — it asks for approval. You always control mutations.
