Brain — overview

Brain is a three-dimensional memory map: everything Yttri knows about you and the links between those objects. It is not a separate store but a view over existing data: the nodes are your actual notes, emails, tasks, meetings and contacts.

The map answers questions a list cannot:

what is connected to this project at all;
where the agent got a particular fact from;
what is connected to nothing and has probably been forgotten.

You are the centre

In the middle sits the You node. Understanding, entities and events are arranged around it. The core panel says it plainly: the centre of the map is you, and the core is not considered orphaned even without explicit edges.

Areas

Nodes are coloured by area: People · Projects · Notes · Mail · Meetings and recordings · Documents · Finance · Agent · Understanding · Core.

The legend shows the areas and how many of each are currently visible — as “shown of total”. That is an honest caption: on dense data the scene does not draw every node.

Note · task · completed task (a separate type) · project · meeting · conversation with the agent · mail thread · contact · document · recording · obligation · WIKI topic · WIKI entity · You.

Screen states

“Building the memory map…” — the first build;
“Updating the map…” — a rebuild after changes;
“Memory is still empty” — objects appear as you work;
“The memory map could not be built” — with the important note that your local data is untouched, and a Retry button.

Below the scene is a summary: how many nodes and links are shown.

How it differs from the Wiki

The Wiki is text: articles on topics and entities that the agent writes and maintains. Brain is a map of links across all data, where wiki topics and wiki entities appear as node types of their own.

Put simply: you read in the wiki, and in Brain you look at what is connected to what and where it came from.
